Information we use
When you enquire about or use our appliance rental service, we may collect your name, contact details, address or postcode, appliance requirements, delivery and access details, messages, rental and service records, and payment status. We receive this information from you, Meta enquiry forms, our website and our payment providers. We use it to answer enquiries, check availability, arrange and manage rentals, deliveries, repairs and collections, collect payments, keep business and accounting records, handle complaints or claims, and prevent fraud or loss.

Why we use it
We use personal information to take steps before and to fulfil a rental contract, meet legal duties, and pursue our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the business. We use consent where required, including for non-essential website cookies. We do not send promotional emails or text messages.

Who receives it
We share information only when necessary with Meta, GoCardless, SumUp, website and IT providers, delivery and repair providers, professional advisers, debt recovery providers and public authorities where required by law. We do not sell personal information. Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where required, appropriate UK data protection safeguards apply.

How long we keep it
We normally keep unsuccessful enquiries for up to 12 months. Rental, payment and accounting records are normally kept for six years after the rental ends. We may keep information longer where required by law or while a complaint, debt or legal claim remains open.

Your rights
You may have the right to access, correct or delete your information, restrict its use, receive certain information in a portable format, and withdraw consent. These rights depend on the circumstances and may not always apply. Contact us to make a request.
